There arent a lot of issues that would cause your Lincoln Town Car to be stuck in Park. I understand that this complaint does not rank up there with some that are given, but to an 80+ year old woman, who has only driven this vehicle 12,100 since purchase this is a major deal. The most common cause of the problem you are having is a defective Luggage compartment lid solenoid.
